Trinchera Ranch

We are very pleased to present our exclu­sive guided fly fish­ing trips and pack­ages on the fab­u­lous Trinchera / Ute Creek Ranch (for­merly Forbes Ranch) in south­ern Col­orado. We’ve been enter­tain­ing clients at this sprawl­ing 171,000 acre ranch for 25 years but now we have exclu­sive access (except for the Ranch’s per­sonal and grand­fa­thered guests) and we can offer a com­plete fly fish­ing program.

We can now book any­thing from a sin­gle day of fish­ing for one per­son to multi day trips for cor­po­rate groups that includes 5-star lodg­ing, meals, pri­vate access to the Ranch’s waters and our own Cule­bra Creek, just 25 min­utes from the lodge. Stay as long as you like and enjoy the finest wild trout fish­ing in the south­west, all “with­out the crowds”! Click here for lodg­ing and packages.

SAC Mem­bers don’t pay rod fees. Mem­bers get day-use access on San­gre de Cristo Creek with­out a guide. They must have a guide the first time on the rest of the ranch with a 25% dis­count on the guide fee. After the first time they must either stay at the Trinchera Lodge or hire a guide at the nor­mal 10% discount.
