Fly of the Week standard

Classic salmon fly by Spencer Seim tied using traditional methods and materials. Spencer has been guiding for the Solitary Angler for the last 9 years. For the last 3 years, he has been focusing his tying energy mainly on classic patterns from the days of old.  Many of these patterns were highly coveted by Scottish anglers back in the late 1800’s.  The tying process can be very complex, sometimes taking 8-10 hours per fly.  A framed salmon fly is the perfect gift for the angler who has everything.  For more info on Spencer’s salmon flies, go to www.ziafly.com.
